I know a lot of you are wondering about The Simpsons Game. When is it coming out? How much information have they released. Well I plan to explain all that. Plus I plan to release a podcast episode talking about all this with a friend of mine that can explain everything better than I can. So lets start off with the basics.
Release date:
The Simpsons Game will be released on October 30, 2007 for Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Wii, PSP, and Playstation 3. The Nintendo DS version will be released on November 13, 2007. The game features a Single-player mode along with a Co-operative mode. It is developed by Electronic Arts(EA) and is rated T(ages 13 and up).
Gameplay:
The game has sixteen levels where you can play as Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge(and for brief moments, Maggie). All sixteen levels will be familiar places from Springfield, USA.
Other details:
The game was officially announced at The Simpsons 400th episode party at 20th Century Fox. The game features cel-shaded graphics(a type of rendering to make computer graphics look hand-drawn) instead of solid 3D used in the previous three games. Finally! Season ninteen of America's favorite family starts tomorrow. That's right. The Simpsons kicks off their ninteenth season tomorrow at 8/7 Central on FOX. The episode is titled, He Loves to Fly and He Doh's. The description for the episode is, after a trip on Mr. Burns' private plane, Homer enlists the aid of a life coach (Stephen Colbert) to help him find a job that allows him to use a coporate jet.
